Sophie Cullinan works in a multi-disciplinary way to create interactive, participatory and performative works. She cherishes and captures hidden memories in her use of discarded clothing and ephemera to create interactive sculptures in which humour is often used as conduit to initiate interaction and convey meaning. Experimentations in control and essential duality are common themes throughout her work. Sophie also creates site specific Multiple Participant Projects which encourage individual freedom of expression within large scale multi-piece installations.
